Default Quick question...

Hey peeps, got a 98 ex coupe and wanted to install some better lighting. I can get a hold of a pretty complete HID kit and install myself. Question is will it work/look okay with the original headlight housings? Or will it be a diaster? Thanks for your help in advance.

I hesitate to use the word "disaster", but the results certainly will not be favourable. Stock halogen housings (especially the Civic's) do a poor job of controlling the additional amounts of light generated by HID capsules, a thus the beam pattern ends up being quite lousy.

If you want to improve lighting in your stock housings, I'd suggest picking up a set of the new Philips X-treme Power bulbs, and perhaps installing a relay setup.
