would a d16y7 intake manifold fit a d16z6? Kind of a dumb question but I really need to know befor I buy

he thinks Y8 to Z6...but the intakes is the same, except one sensor attachment!

i belive it will, u may need to modifiy some of the hoses, and make sure they are both mpfi or dpfi idk which you all use

a y7 is the one with the TB pointing up. why would you put a y7 manifold ona z6? it will bolt on and will work with minor mods...but why??

and joethejoeman - the z6 and y7 are both mpfi.

no no I just need to know because i'm just using the part that bolts on to the head because i'm doing some itbs myself and just need the adapter plate to weld onto the itbs so need to know if it will bolt on, the rest of is chopped off

yes it will, if your doing itb's then ok but if your putting it on as a temporary, pay 5dolla more for a better IM like the y8 or z6.

yeah for itbs only, of course i'm not going to put them on just for the hell of it, but yeah would it bolt on for sure because I need to know befor I take them to get them welded on my itbs
