Default quick header/gasket question

i just bought some header off ebay and was wondering if i should go to honda and get the gasket still.

it came with a metal thing which looks like a gasket. im not sure if its supposed to be rubber or metal material for the header. ive only replaced the valve cover one before
thanks

what else should i get to make everything run safely

The metal thing you got with the header is your gasket.
