quick EG power door swap question
i've read thru a bunch of DIY's, most of which are kinda half-assed, or have dead links/pics, and stumbled on one that actually seemed reasonable.
and i quote:
"If possible, take the whole doors like I did. If not this is what you'll need:
EX/SI door panels with switches
Power lock control box
Power window regulators
Power lock actuators (door latch assembly)
Power mirror switch
Power mirrors
Power window relay
Wire harness between door and body with grommets(one on each side)
Full door wire harness from each door (so you can plug up the switches and what not)
Wire harness that plugs into back of fuse panel (powers the windows, locks, mirrors)
Wire harness that plugs into back of power mirror switch
YOU CAN OBTAIN THESE PARTS FROM THESE MODEL CIVICS - EX, LX, Si"
now my question is, since my car is an Si(1993), is it possible that the wiring is already there in the floor harness for the power door plug?
i just picked up two complete EX doors, with everything inside the door for PL/PW/PM, and immaculate panels($25!!), but i dont have the "male" end off that cars floor harness to wire it up. im really crossing my fingers in that the Si's floor harness is already powered for PW/PL.
any help/info would be greatly appreciated
thanks in advance

The si's are not prewired. sorry, you gonna have to run the wires yourself. I have done the conversion as well on my 93 si. I only did the power windows conversion and it was really cake. have fun.

How hard is it to remove the under dash harness?
My LX sedan is falling apart. I'm about to pick up a DX sedan for cheap... I just wanna swap out all the power accessories.
Most of the wiring I've seen in cars is all taped together and routed so that it's a bitch to get out. Or are the power window/lock/mirror harnesses separate from the rest of the car's electrical system?
