quick 99 front end question
Besides the fenders hood and bumper would i need to get the radiator support.
also would my condensor and radiator need to change. |
Re: quick 99 front end question (Mr. JDM-GSR)
It would be a good idea to get the radiator support. Without it, the bumper will have to be cut and it will never look right.

You'll need hood, fenders, bumper, headlights, and grille. It all bolts up. There's no need for a radiator support.

i work at a car shop so there is no problem to cut the bumper up a little
also does anyone have any experience with those non oem body part suppliers and how well they fit together |
Re: (Mr. JDM-GSR)
they fit pretty good actually almost like stock... there is a place here in albuquerque called keystone and they sell like all that stuff for under 100 bucks and its made out of strong material stock looking bumper..

Re: (Mr. JDM-GSR)
as long as it's honda certified... (but who knows what that means)
i've used honda certified fenders, and it fit like a glove... and as for the the rad support, as everyone said...you dont need one for the conversion, i never got one.. |
Re: (drunkn_tyger)
radiator support would be a waste of cash. you'll just need to cut two v-shaped notches in the bumper on the backside where the grille attaches to. when you try to mount the bumper on, you'll see immediately where i'm referring to.

Re: (vtecb20coupe)
As some one else mentioned you will be needing the new grill so don't forget that one.
Hood, Fenders, grill, and bumper. and maybe a nice SI lip https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif |
