Questions regarding clutch and d16y7 swap
Quick question guys:
If im using the obd1 d15b7 transmission on the d16y7 motor, do i use the b7 clutch kit or the y7 clutch kit?
Also, which ecu would run the y7 better using the b7 distributor? The P28, PO6 or the obd1 LS ecu?
TIA

Re: Questions regarding clutch and d16y7 swap (civicboisi)
All d series are the same as far as clutch. i would use the y7 would work better but then again b7 wouldnt work unless modified because its od1. ??

yeah, im not too sure either...all i know is that the transmissions are all interchangeable...but does it make the clutch interchangeable too?

yes it does. but if you think about it, what does the clutch bolt to? the flywheel, which is bolted to the engine.. so i would just use that to make your decision easier. but they are all interchangeable.
