Default Questions regarding 99-00 Si/SiR

Okay so I'm selling my 98 Civic in a few weeks and in a few months I hope to have a 99-00 Civic Si/SiR. I have a few concerns:

ABS. What are the advantages/disadvantages of SiR ABS?
Cluster. Would I be able to swap a USDM Si cluster into a Canadian SiR?
Importing. How much to import an SiR into the US, taxes involved, etc.?

I appreciate any and all help...thanks guys!

I have a CDN. SiR and I personally feel that the ABS system is far too sensitive....they seem to turn on under moderate braking in the smallest amount of rain. That could also have to do with the stock Michelines not having any tracking in the rain causing them to activate pre-maturely

sorry but the only thing i can help with is the cluster, it is a direct swap unplug and plug in.

Don't Import a SiR here in the US. It's basically the same as the Si but with no heated mirrors and abs. Everything else is exactly the same. It's not worth it. Those SiR's are made especially for them Canadians. They have a bigger wiper fluid reservoir and other stuff thats a plus for cold weather.

One advantage of a SiR is that you can get it in silver.

I didn't realize the cluster on the US Si is different from the SiR.
