questions on civic turbo
Hello I want to buy a bolt on turbo kit for my 1992 sohc vtec civic do I have to do any modifications to the car for the turbo like pistons and stuff or will it be fine stock.

If you want to run higher boost than yes you do because it wont hold up but you can run on low boost on stock internals but may not be reliable or long lived depending on the mileage of the motor

Depends on amount of boost, condition of motor, setup, the way you drive etc.

If you don't smash on it all the time.. it will be okay. Also, it's safer to get it dyno tuned.

You should also look into such things as bigger injectors i.e 1g dsm injectors will fit, and a good fuel management system. running around 7psi shouldnt cause harm to a already good running engine.
