questions, buying a car with obd1 to obd2 engine .... read all 39 posts in the search..
i was thinking about buy a 92cx with a 00 ex motor in it. OBD 1 to OBD 2 right. I did do a search.
here the problems: (all the parts are from a 94 SI) OBD1 right.
94 O2 sensor
94 ECU
94 injectors
94 dist, but together with other parts? (H.A.P. did it) ??????????
He also said it " sometimes" throws a code 1 which is the O2 sensor.
Is this hard to fix? What do I need to do? Change it all the parts back to OBD2?
Get OBD1 to OBD 2 jumper wire? Will that work? How much will this cost?
Thanks for any info.

Leave it OBD1. If it throws a code1 sometimes it probably means the 02 sensor is no good, or is on its way out. Tell him to change the 02 sensor and see if it comes back after a few weeks then think about buying the car.

Why not just buy a stock Civic/Integra/whatever and then do it right in a year or so??
Buy an Si, so you have all the comforts like power stuff, and nice interior...
Then swap whatever you want in it.
