questions about camber kit and the like (i searched)

howdy,
i was wondering what will i need exactly to be able to drop my car a couple
inches with 18 inch rims (yes i know people on this forum dont like that shit)
-- but thats not my question. Before i order my suspension, i want to know what i am getting in to.

front camber doesnt get too bad unless you slam it, which you wont be able to do with .........18" rims......... i'd just get a set of lowering springs if thats all you want to do.

some manufacturers makes 18 x 7 inch wheels that are made to fit civics easy. Also consider the right offset (43mm-45mm), gutting out your front fender plastic liners, shorter lca, and front and rear camber kits

Actually, i wont be able to gut our the fender liners because i was
missing one on the drivers side and my entire headlamp assembly was
soked with rain water (and still is https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emsad.gif ) and would never dry up. SO i just
installed a fender liner there for protection.
So with the fedner liners it will be hard to drop ym car like 1-2 inches?
I always heard camber kits let u drop your car with big rims ... dunno

tein has a spring kit out now for about $130 and drops it 1.6" in front and 1.4" in the rear. those should work w/ your 18's. just watch the tire width.

first off, why do you want 18"s? they are big and heavy... https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emthdown.gif

Re: questions about camber kit and the like (2ndchancehonda)

i know https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emsad.gif but its bling and my car is slow until
i get my turbo so i figure ill keep em on until them.
Also i believe mine are 18x7.5 and i noticed that the wheels
end right where the fender ends (the fender is not in front of the
wheels if it were dropped) so i dunno how much ill be able to drop.
let me know of a hosting site and ill post a pic.
