Default questions

so i was wondering (don't get mad) about how to change the anti-freeze meaning how to drain it. the process. and when changing ur brakes do u have to bleed out the fluid? and is it cheaper to do it urself or just take it out to a shop? thanx in advance

You don't have to bleed the brakes, you can replace the pads yourself and save a lot of $$.

To drain the anti-freeze just open that screw (whatever it is called) at the bottom of the radiator.

wat about the rotors? same thing? just replace nothing else?

and i heard with the anti freeze u need to like heat the car up until the thermostat opens and then u drain it or is all that really not needed?

Rotors are easy to replace too, they just require a little more work. Check out the FAQ thread at the top of this forum, they have "How-To's" on lots of stuff.

Why are you draining your anti-freeze?

well i don't know if i need to but my gf's car is runnin' on water... so i thought i might need to flush that out and then put in new anti freeze
