Now the first one is cheaper, but how do i know there was a port and polish job done to it? is there any questions i can ask the sellers? i really need help since im REALLY new to this building the motor. Oh and i have tried to read on this stuff but there is not much on how to tell if a head is really p&p'ed so help a guy out!

Thanks guys/gals

oh and i also asking him a question about the p&p and he said this..

"there is about 5000 miles on the head since i had it machined . i dont have a reciept on it because i swaped out some work for it sorry but it is profesionally done .the ports were expanded to the gasket size and the roof of the ports were raised to flow directly in to the valves . it has a sweet sounding rev and its has wicked tourque on the highway. thanks for the question let me know if u have any more--- honda mafia crx."

doesnt mean anything. there wasa guy who ported his own head and he even tested it on a flow bench and it flowed less than a stock head with a 3 angle valve job.
also there have been alot of talk on the importance of valve jobs and air flow. if you cant wait then buy a stock head cause most likely the economy head you buy is trash,

If you don't want so much downtime, why not buy a head (not ported) and send it to your choice of shops. Then swap your head with the newly ported part. One weekend or a day with some help and you're set.
