Default Question in regards to changing 97 civic dx rear end from drum to disk

I have been reading alot about this swap to make my civic have disk all around. The work is easy and wont take that long at all but I do have a few questions. First if i swap out the rear drums for disks seeing as how most all the swaps us the same swing arm, I am wanting to do a complete suspension upgrade. Will this cause any issues. I dont think it will but safe than sorry. Also any comments from anyone how has done this swap as far as what pieces where easier to us and come by nd the finished product maybe pics.

you can use the stock drum trailing arm.. just gotta swap over the complete disk setup.. hub, etc..
gotta use your civic control arms, cant use integra or eg stuff.. cept the rear upper control arm
i used a 94 integra trailing arm with all the disc stuff on it, on my 96 lx.
heres a basic list:
disc hub, caliper bracket, caliper, rotor, pads, ebrake cables from 99-00 si, or 94-01 integra, brake caliper hoses from 99-00 si, 93-97 del sol w/ rear discs, or 94-01 integra.

find a 88-00 civic or a 90-01 integra at the junkyard. Take the trailing arms.

If it's a 92-00 civic, or a 94-01 integra, you can keep the calipers as well.

Reuse your LCAs if you can. If the bushings are frozen and you have to cut bolts, it's easiest and sometimes cheapest to just buy new LCAs instead of buying and pressing in new bushings. out, you can buy cheap replacement aluminum arms on ebay for like $75. MAKE SURE YOU CLOCK THE BUSHINGS IN THE ARMS OR THEY WILL TEAR IN ABOUT 2 MONTHS!!

Use E brake cables from a 99-00 Si. You can make 92-95 civic or 94-01 integra cables fit...but it takes some craftyness. It's easier not to be crafty if you have the option. I've done the crafty method. It wasn't too bad..but then again...I'm just a crafty dude.

You can use the hydraulic lines from a 92-95 civic or a 94-01 integra.

Upgrade the front brakes while you're at it since this is where most of the braking action takes place.

Use 94-01 Integra (any model), 92-95 EX ABS, or 96-00 EX/Si spindles, discs and calipers. If you buy integra or 92-95 civic stuff, you will need an alignment.

Either way, get the correct proportioning valve. You can get one from a 99-00 Si. If you get the larger front brakes, get the master cylinder from a 88-91 EX or a 99-00 Si.
