I have a 2013 nissan altima, and a 92 Civic hathcback.
My girlfriend and I drive the altima when we have to take our son to pre school everyday. *hes 3
Im trying to avoid putting to many miles on my altima
I have have a 92 civic with a semi built GSR motor, Has a cat and resonator so it's not too loud. Not having mechanical problems and maintenance are up to par. Downside is, has no AC or Power steering. But I've been deciding if I should add my car seat into my civic and start driving that time to time.

My question is to you parents
What would be your opinion on this? I don't know if cops will give me a hard time for having my child in a modified car.
And if it makes any difference I live in Southern california.

They cant say anything as long as you have the proper restraint reqiurements. My child has ridden in my highly modified stuff before.

They can't hassle you about it. But it's not really a safe car lol. If they are in a foward facing car seat I suggest getting the latch/teathers for the back, you can order them at the dealer

I have driven around my daughter since the day we came home from the hospital till now (2 1/2 years old). My 98 Acura el only had a normal seat belt to hold the car seat in. And now my 98 hatch gets us around fine to. You and your family are only as safe as you drive.


My daughter likes taking the roundabouts fast sometimes haha

Thanks guys, I just didn't want to seem like a bad parent in other peoples thoughts, I do have a clean driving record and I'm not some idiot that puts other people in danger. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't the only one. haha
