question for the paint people
Trying to do research before I go and buy/barrow equipment and supplies to paint my first car. I'm thinking a HVLP spray gun would be the best way to go except I can't find a straight answer on what's a good size compressor and how much it would cost. So for the people that have done a paint job or just happen to know, what are you using and recommend. I wish there was a painting section in the technical forum.

when you go to buy an item like that, it will usually tell you what size compressor you will need to run. Likewise, when you buy a compressor, it usually tells you the kind of things you can run with it. It is probably going to be a pretty big compressor.
