Icon6 Question- Needs for K24 into 96 civic sedan

Before you tell me to search for related topics, I have. None of which answered my questions.
I plan to swap a K24 into my EJ6. I would like to know everything I would need to have a complete swap for this project. I was told I need:
The engine
custom wiring harness
Mounts
ecu
K-Pro tuned
Tranny

That was all I was told. If there are more, could you please list them please. Thankyou.

Another question, Could I build the K24 head just like the K20 head, or would I need to get a K20 head for that performance? Thank you very much.

Default Re: Question- Needs for K24 into 96 civic sedan

shifter cables and shifter box or the karcepts shifter box

custom fuel system (rail and regulator) or some other way to deal with the k series lack of fuel return

some way to mount a coolant temp sensor in the upper rad hose

is it a k24a2? if it is...isn't the k24a2 head already pretty similar to the k20a2?

also if memory serves me correctly with a k24 swap there is some BS that you have to go through with a water port on the motor...welding it shut or blocking it off...double check that though because I'm not 100% off the top of my head about that

talk to Will at hybrid racing (hybridracing.com) he can set you up with every thing you need... the last K series swap I did I got everything from him...

hybrid racing fuel kit (GE rail, aeromotive pressure reg, ss lines fittings)
hybrid racing swap harness (nice harness, easy to work with, good instructions)
coolant temp sensor kit

then you still need...

mounts
axles (custom or make yourself)
header (custom...I got mine from six sigma racing)
shifter cables/box

I think that is everything as long as you don't want power steering or a/c, but I could have
missed something...spend some time over at www.k20a.org and do some more research before you get started

im pretty sure u need to put a K20 head on there for K20 like performance. I dont think that the K24 head has any roller rockers.
