ok i bought a msd cap and blaster 2 coil. i installed it and hooked up everything like msd said. when i would drive i noticed a loss in power mostly in mid and low range rpms (runnin lean). so i uninstalled and put stock cap and coil on. now i have a b&m fpr at 40 psi. and i am curious to know if installing the msd stuff will help with power now? by the way the engine is a jdm d15 vtec, with ngk irdiums, i/h/e, and A Peice of Crap wires. thanks for help

Are you saying after the MSD stuff, you were running lean, how did you confirm that was the reason why you were running lean, or better yet the reason why you lost the power was due to running lean....

maybe he was spark knocking (whicj he could hear) or maybe he has a wide band.

ok no i don't know for sure that i was runnin lean before or after the msd. but i know i lost power in mid and low range. and i did tell a differnce after i took the msd off. i know i was runnin lean while the msd was on bc of the plugs. it's easy to tell anything by those. i wasn't spark knocking and i know for sure that my timing is perfect. and i changed them twice in a month to make sure what was goin on.
