question on jdm b16a???

Icon3 question on jdm b16a???

hey i was woundering i have oil leaking into my spark plugs i wanted to know what could be wrong or if anyone else has had this problem before? i was told it might be a valve or a retainer? or maybe even a piston or piston ring... well i was planning on replacing all of these parts and adding some other stuff like camshaft, cam gears, dual spring and eagle connecting rods another question im having is i wanted to know more less how much horse power more i would get... and how much more does a skunk 2 pro series intake manifold help you... well thanks on the info guys really appriciate it

Just get a valve cover gasket kit, should solve that problem.

Yes, it is the o-rings for the sparkplug guides, a valve cover set will do you just fine.

The power output will be dependent solely upon the characteristics of your build, may it be high compression, stock compression with cams and bolt ons, or low compression and forced induction. Your useage of the car should come into consideration while making this decision, whether it be show-worthy, race-worthy, or daily driver-worthy. An aftermarket intake manifold, such as the skunk2 will give you a slight advantage top end, alone it may not be enough to notice on the butt dyno, but it works well in conjunction with other modifications, such as previously stated cams. x2 Those rings are probably burnt out or "crispy" and they are not completly blocking the oil correctly so the oil drips into your spark plugs.
