Question on Headers!!! o2 sensors.
Im switching from a regular dx header to EX (since i have one laying around and my dx headers just split into 2)
was wondering what do i do with this whole 1 - O2 on the header and what would i do with the other one??
i kno on the ex model it would be on the midpipe instead of the header. since the dx model has both stuck to the headers.
the the 2nd o2 hang? or hard wire it to 1 o2 sensor???? an experience? NEED FEEDBACK!!! asap

Re: Question on Headers!!! o2 sensors.
The second o2 sensor is for monitoring the cat converter. If you are going to use the d16y8 header (ex), are going to add a cat converter? If not you are going to having to get a o2 bung welded in. Go to your local autozone and pickup these: http://www.autozone.com/autozone/par...er=720789_0_0_ .
You will have to drill the part out to fit your secondary o2 sensor. Install the sensor in the part and install the part+sensor onto the second o2 bung. This will eliminate engine check light for the cat converter.

Re: Question on Headers!!! o2 sensors.
if i wire them together will it still work not trying to spend money on getting a bung installed.
if i have to switch exhaust i will but not trying to spend money on welding if its a stock car.
