question on drag springs
lookin to get 1200 or 1400 lbs race springs to lock up my car for launch. i called eibach and they need the diameter and the height of the units i need, thats no problem but my question is regarding ride height. we all know that with regular springs and shocks the shocks/springs will compress simply with the weight of the car on top. now if you have race springs i dont think that will be the case right? i mean the car will sit on the fully expanded shock/strut set,which will make the car really high off the ground. i have a 92 lude and my question is do i need short body struts or could i make em by cutting and retapping the stock strut shaft? how does that all work. somebody with some knowledge please lemme know. thanks.
