i'm looking at buying a 98 silver civic that has some blue paint in some odd spots, in the black trim rubber and near the window rubber, it is also in the interior on the cloth of the door panel, cup holders, etc. it is minor, from a distance you wouldn't notice it but when you get close you can see it, otherwise the paint looks good, with minor wear and tear, it isn't on top of any of the silver paint, thought it might be primer but it is also in the interior in some wierd spots. any ideas, what it might be?

... It was blue... Now it's silver.

It's not that big of a deal, besides the fact that it sounds like a Shitty paint job. So the pervious owner cheaper out on the paint... What else did he cheap out on?

Just think about things like this when purchasing a car.

Not necisary the owner, could of been a bad job no matter where he had it done. Just because you pay someone good money dosent mean you get quality work.

Also if its on the inside maybe its say house paint or something that someone who sat in it had on a shirt for example walked against the car got some on the outside then sat down on the inside and got some there.
