question on brakes (5 lug ctr)
i did a 5 lug ctr conversion on my 96 civic hatch
i used the brake lines that came with the conversion. one of'em gave out today (thank god i was parking) and i want to get some stainless steels.
do i get integra lines? or civic lines?
i'd like to get some pads and slotted rotors also all around.
also which pads do i order? teg or civic?
anyone know a good place to order from?
thanks in advance
im still gonna keep trying the search cause it doesnt seem to work all to hot right now

Re: question on brakes (marshun)
U shoulda get custom made braided brake lines.
Not sure where in ur area where u can get it from.
Integra stock lines from dc2r will be a bit too long.
As for pads i assume u should get teh dc2r ones?

Re: question on brakes (marshun)
just tried the 99 type r's and the 90-93 tegs. no go.

I don't see why '99-00 Civic Si lines wouldn't work . . .
For pads and rotors, use '97-01 Integra Type-R. Forget the slotted rotors, they're a waste of money. Just buy cheaper blanks.

Re: question on brakes (tpr)
So Si lines? i'll try those. and i'll order some 99 teg type r rotors n pads. thanks tpr.
but have you tried the slotted brakes on a track? i have'em on my 240 and i used to have overheating problems with the brakes. but once i put on the slotteds i didnt have it anymore and i could brake later into the turns. so im a believer in the slotteds.
some of you other guys.....

Re: question on brakes (tpr)
the 5 lug stuff was from a CTR. i used those ctr lines from how they were connected and it sucked.
but what i did find out is that theyre the same as the Si's. also you gotta switch their sides. meaning you use the left Si one on the right and the right on the left. and then move that bracket down.
i just did it today and fits great. well as can be expected.
