question: brake
i am about to flush my brake system and i was told by some one that i need to bleed the ABS also if i were to use fluid like ATE, Motul, etc. is this true? and if so, how would i bleed the ABS? btw, my civic is a 98 4dr ex (canadian).

For the ABS, you want to use a fluid that is not hygroscopic...IOW, do not use a racing fluid such as Motul 600 or AP Racing 551 or 600. For the ABS, use a standard DOT3/4 fluid only.
You will need to cycle the ABS motor to flush it. There is a special tool for bleeding the ABS, as it is under pressure. This is something for the dealer to do, unless you have the special tool and know how to do it.
