Only uses H4H bulbs.. I am sure you can probably refabricate it somehow but I wouldnt suggest it.

Mine also need to use the H4h bulbs, you can use H4 bulbs and work on the metal plate abit, make it smaller to fit in

H4's are fatter. and the H4H's are skinner. That is all. You can fit H4's into H4H's, but it takes some modding of the bulb

USDM = Glass, with little protruding nipples.
JDM = Plastic, with no nipples, uses JDM H4H bulbs, also has courtesy lights built in.

I am also interested... I have never tried moddin H4's to fit. If it works I will definately jump on it. H4H bulbs are $$.

LOL, its kinda funny and ghetto But I will do my best:

Well i just got the JDM headlights in and one of the bulbs would only do high beam and not low beam. So at low beam, I only had one bulb on of the set. I really didnt feel like spending $90 to get some H4H bulbs. So I found my tool (medal cutting siccors) and got to work on the H4 bulb. If you trim the inside ring so that it is really small and the 3 prongs that stick out you have to trim a bit also. Just keep trimming the metal down till its fits in the H4H spot. Use the H4H bulb as a kinda guide reference too. Not really much to it. Just some cutting.

Looks like a new experiment.
