question bout buyin a 99 si already modified
im looking into buyin a 99 si i found one wit very low milage, i called the guy and he was telling me that he done all sort of mods. he gave me a basic list of stuff like adjustable suspension and shocks, all new exaust. most of that i really dnt care about cause i would do it myself but he also supercharged it. the guy said he jus had it inspected and it passed and it runs good. im having my mechanic look at it but im jus curious on u guys input on the subject.

something i noticed about cars that are beat on is on the floor where the clutch is when its pressed is usually ripped or something from then pushing the clutch in hard when they race

2 things.
1. anyone who mods their car is probably pretty hard on them (i know i am) and nobody wants to buy a car that has been ragged on by someone else.
2. i think part of the passion of racing is doing all the mods yourself. i enjoy modding and tuning and even fixing just as much as i do racing.
do yourself a favor and go buy a stock civic from some old grandma who was scared to get on it. just my 2 cents.

Re: (JDubbs99Civic)
thats not true. my boss has an srt-4 he has a bunch of werk done to it and when he drives it he drives it nice. occasionally he gets on it, he did spend the money, but i told my mechanic he's gonna take a good look at it. and i know wat ur sayin bout the do it urself stuff, but from wat he explained to me sounds like stuff i would do myself. well i dnt know bout the super charger cause i wouldnt b able to afford to buy it but my mechanic is a good guy, ill keep u guys updated. if i get it ill post pics.
