I have a 93 del with 5 speed. My backup lights will not come on in reverse and I have checked the bulbs and they are fine. Is there a switch on the tranny or somewhere else that could be bad. I am also having trouble with car running rich and it drops the idle down when you rev car up and it comes back down. What should I look for here? I have changed the o2 sensor and it is not flooding anymore but still running rich. Thanks, Greg

Well.. yes there is a backup light switch on the tranny. Look into that..

And is your MIL light on?

As for running rich, don't blame it on the 02 right away. Take it to the dealer and have them fix it.. there's too many things it could be. More than likely it's not the 02.

And once again.. is the check light on?

yep i know for sure there's a connection on your tranny that turns ur lights on when ur in reverse, wire might of came loose or unconnected while you were playing.....check that.
