I just did my bros upper balljoint by pressing out the old one and installing a new. The new one had a dimple on the outside that i assume your suppose to align with something on the control arm. His old balljoint didnt have any marks to align with nor does the control arm anywhere.

So my question is how do u align the balljoint. All i did was put that dimple right on the outside middle of the control arm. That sound about right for anyone thats pressed in the upper balljoint before?
