question about v-afc?
when getting the v-afc tuned, and getting your v-tec set with tuning, then you shouldn't realy have to mess with raising or lower vtec points after it is tuned? i have a skunk2 p28 with v-tec set at 5800rpms and i love it. now my question realy is, do i realy need the v-afc, or will the standard s-afc (without vtec of course) be ok for tuning with the same resaults. or is vtec engagement just a personal preferance?( not realy affecting performance gains from tuning vtec controller higher or lower)
should i get just the s-afc because i like where my vtec is already set?
set up is 95 gsr, chipped p28 vtec set at 5800. and skunk2 stage 2 cams on the way. and all both ons of course.

Re: question about v-afc? (rathead-ek)
From a tuning standpoint, the VAFC is a good idea. I understand you like it set at 5800, but keep in mind, on a dyno, in the hands of a good tuner, they might adjust the VTEC crossover at a different RPM, and after adjusting the fuel, might make more power earlier, giving you a more usable range of power (depending on what type of driving you'll be doing).
