Theres a honda hatch at my school, no idea what year or if its any specific model, no badges or anything, looks to be repainted.. (Did they come in a purplish-blue?) but anywho no one seems to want to talk about it, but whats the potential for it seeing that it has no turbo/swap/power adder of any kind. assuming simple things like I/H/E.. its also a manual. the interior is really stripped down, 2 MOMO racing seats in front and nothing else in the car really.

if its a 96-00 hatch, i'm thinking its the dark purple that you're talking about..if you are..ya, its an OEM color..
how do you know if it doesn't have a turbo/swap/power adder? just wondering cuz you said you didn't know much about what that car has...i'm thinking, if he can afford two momo seats, and has the whole car stripped..maybe he does have something crazy under the hood

well ment more along the lines of, 1/8mile ability, 1/4mile ability, whats the weak point: traction or roll races, hows it autocross, does it come down to the driver with these cars or are they pretty easy to launch well ect..my friend with a bmw 3series (the 4 banger version) with a 75shot of NOS(yes the actual brand) wants to race him so im digging up info (i love to know everything) the bwm runs mid 14s-high 14s in the quarter.

only 2 poweradders at our school (Taht aren't factory i.e.: turbo saabs ) one supercharged GT and one nitroused bwm (friend from earlier post). his exhaust is really loud, everytime im around him never heard a BOV, i can't sit here and say i've looked under the hood he doens't have anything but im 95% sure no poweradder

well, if you're that sure..then he has no chance...the car is pretty slow stock....
but you should never underestimate someone and their honda (in fact, any modified car)...
cuz lots of people..(especially in honda-tech)..like to keep their cars clean and unnoticed...well, i guess except for that exaust...ha.

well thats the thing, no direspect torwards anything, but heres how I see it, when i roll up on a body kitted "anything" i usually don't worry all that much but when i roll up on a beat up civic or a clean stock looking civic and i hear a swoosh when it shifts.. i almost always start to wonder.. i hate sleepers course i keep my cutout closed and i sound quieter then stock and i have a duck hanging from my rear view so i suppose no one expects anything from me.. but I thought they were the fastest of the hondas due to their light weight -knows nothing about imports

its not all about turbo...cuz it could have a swapped motor..and that gives the car plenty of umph..

no swapped motor? that would have definitly got around the school.. everyboy knows everything about everybodys car once you start going to the track, specialy the big details like that.. what do they run stock? and with headers and such?

yeah, i love my car. 92 hatch. even bought 13 " steel rims to make it look slow. but I have 99 gsr motor under the hood. only way you know that is becasue the valve cover hits the hood and there are dents. oh well. its jsut dents from leaving a block of wood under the hood when I closed it. am i only kno whow to change my oil on my car. i woul dthink people were smarter when at 4.5 rpms the vtec kicks in. loud as hell but a Z24 wants to race me. but i don't think the secret will come out when I wax a z24. maybe some 8 cylinder mustange would be nice to let the secret out on. haha

check if he's got an intercooler...but i run a turbo without an intercooler so thats not always the case. or see if u can see shiney header under the bumper or a CAI...if he's got CAI he wont have boost.
