Question about tail light bulbs?
I was wondering which one of these sockets
is for the turn signal? Is the turn signal bulb dual filament? What is the part number for the turn sinal bulb?
Which socket goes into the bottom hole?
The reason I am confused on which socket goes into which spot is that there were altezzas on the car when I bought it which had a different wiring harness. When I put the stock tail lights on I just put the sockets in the hole without thinking if it made a difference or not.
I have already went here: http://www.sylvania.com/Consum...s.htm and it is wrong. It says that 7440 is the bulb for the turn signal but the only socket the 7440 bulbs fits in is the back up light.
It has to either be a 7443 or a 1157 which are both dual filaments. Or a 1156 if the turn signal is single filament.

In your first photo, the lower left socket is for your parking/brake lights, and the upper right socket is for the turn signal. The turn signal is a single-filament 1156 bulb.

It is not, After I posted this I went out to my car and put the turn signal on and the one that came one was the round socket.
