Question about rear disc conversion on 97 civic coupe
i was wondering if it was necessary to get new trailing arms to convert your rear drum to disc. Because i was looking at the hub assembly in the back when i changed my brake shoes and it looks pretty much the same as the disc brake hub assembly. Is there not a way that i could remove all the drum hardware and replace it with the bracket for the caliper?

The trailing arms are the same. The difference is the hub assembly. You can bolt disc brake hub assemblies onto your stock trailing arms. You'll need the proper Torx bit though.
