Default question about Race springs and Tokico Blue shocks combo

how many people here have H&R or Neuspeed Race springs with Tokico Premium Performance (Blue) shocks installed? im hearing a lot of people saying that the Blues will break when used w/ those springs. i, however, have H&R Race springs w/ Blue shocks on my CRX and have had no problems. i have polyurethane bushings and i think that makes the shocks do all the work instead of the suspension bending, so that's why this combo has worked.

now, i wanna know who else has Race springs w/ Blue shocks installed on EG or EJ and have u had any problems w/ it and do u have bushings?

The bushings are not going to make your shocks last longer. If anything the make them work more and wear more, but it's so minute is doen't make a difference. I've never owned the blues i have koni yellows on my neuspeed race springs and it's 100% better then stock. To me i view the blue as a oem replacement shock. Not really ideal for lowered car like 2" and lower. I might would use them on something like a pro-kit but not race springs.

I actually posted a topic under competetion about suspension, I was advised there to go with the KYB AGX Adgustable shocks with the eibach pro-kit springs. I'm not looking for racing technology but good everyday driving with a bit of performance thrown in there as well. probably going to order them next week, please comment if you think i'm making a mistake

if ur really set on an adjustabe shock..i guess it ll be ok..its better than the tokicos in my opinion..ive just seen people who get the adjustables leave them at a desired setting after a while..*so WTF* with the adjustable feature?..ull be happy with the koni reds..think they come stock on the new vettes

I'm looking for a decent priced suspension set up for mostly street use. I have a 90 min highway commute. I'd like to have a firmer ride and i'd like to have my car dropped about 1 to 2 inches... I'm taking suggestions...
