Default question about prop valve ..

i just picked up a prop valve .. i'm just wondering if it's a 40/40 or 30/30 ..

it's a bad picture .. but it reads .. 1725 on top and F 18 under it .. i look all around but can't tell what it's from .. guy said it was a 40/40 .. i don't want to bleed my whole brake set up if it's not a 4040

When you have it in the proper position there will be a set of numbers telling you what it is (ie: 40/40). Feel free to correct me.

I don't think that's a 4040. It's 1725, where it should say 4040.

1725 does not make any sense at all in terms of proportion ..

What car did he say it came out of?

This prop valve came out of a DA9 Integra. Notice the bracket is different.

What do the numbers mean anyway? It's not like 4040 makes a whole lot of sence either.

i have the da prop valve in my eg ..

but i've never seen a 1725 ..

4040 means it puts out more brake fluid since disc does not lock as quick as drums ..
