question about o2 sensor, more curiosity than urgent help
I know the 4 wire o2 sensor goes to the injectors.
where does the 5 wire and 1 wire go to? Mostlikely 4 of the 5 wires go towards to o2 sensor, where does the other one go?
and where does the 1 wire go? is it spliced to go to the 4 injectors?

not sure what you mean by the 4-wire O2 is tied to the injectors...
the 4-wire O2 feeds signal to the ECU, the ECU adjusts the injector pulses to correct the A/F. (tied to injectors version 1)
the heater element's source power is tied to the same point as the injector's power source.(tied to injectors version 2)
a 5-wire O2 is tied to the ECU the same way, but with two signals, a reference voltage, and the same heater element. Plus the heater is wired slightly different.
a 1-wire O2 uses the exhaust as ground, and feeds the signal to the ECU.

I'm pretty sure you "know" wrong. I don't believe any wire on the O2 sensor directly connects to the injectors. They connect to the ECU, the ECU takes data from the O2 sensor, amongst other sensors such as the TPS sensor, the IAT sensor, and the MAP sensor, and runs those against fuel tables (software, loaded on the chip of the ECU) to determine the injectors' width and pulse. Once that, it sends the signal to the injectors for how wide to open, and how long to stay open.
I forgot the whole diagram, but one of the O2 sensor wires is power, another is ground, another is the heater, one's the signal, I believe the 5 wires have 2 sensor wires -- the only difference between the 4 wire and the 5 wire is the 5 wire O2 sensor is more accurate, as it uses more wires and a more complex sensor to get a more accurate reading. The more accurate reading helps it use fuel as efficiently as possible on cars like the VX and HX, and helps you tune more accurately on modified cars.
The O2 sensor is NOT tied to the injectors directly. The ECU decides the injector pulse/width based on a bunch of different sensors' input.

oh i just took apart a eg dx harness and the o2 plug went to the injectors, i mightve thought it was the o2 plug. looked like it. ill double check.
