Question about o2 sensor.....
Hey guys i had a quick questin for you. Ive had a cel code 67 for a while now and havnt had the money to fix it. Its a malfunctioning catalyst system (has to be the secondary o2 or the cat itself). The car is a 98 ex with 152,000 on the clock but still runs great. Ive recently got a 02 sensor removal tool and want to take the 02 sensor out to see what it looks like. My question is can i clean it with anything to see if that helps? When im taking it off will a little wd40 help it come off or will i mess anything up. Anyone had this problem and fixed it, how? Thanks a lot in advance and keep it safe.GOD bless.

Incorrect. You can buy one of those small blow tourches from home depot and what not, the little things plumers use to soulder pipes together, and then burn anything off the end of the o2 sensor. Put it back in and if it's fixed, awesome, if not, replace it with the new one.
I think it is obvious he pulled the code, otherwise he wouldn't know what code it was.

I had the same problem. I had a code 67 and know one knew what it was, but it was because I chaned my Cat Converter. I just went to autozone and bought a new denzo O2 senser and replaced it myself. The CEL was on for a while and it just went off two days ago.
