question about my vtec crossover
Ok I will start out by letting you know my set-up.
B16A1 head on B18A1 bottom end.OBD1 USDM p72 ECU, OBD1 injectrors, ghetto only one bolt lining up 92 LS dizzy( which is proably my problem).
Anyways vtec seems to crossover at around 4200 rpm's which is not correct right?
Rev limiter at 7200 rpms?
And if I stay on it while in vtec for a extened time 70 mph+ then I will get a code 23 sometimes.
Also lets say I take off in 1st get on it and when it gets to about 6k it will kinda feel like it shuts off and then picks up agian.
Things I have checked.
Oil level, pulled and cleaned screen on VPS. Wiring for shorts, etc.
Any help would be great. I might be jumbling on but I am tired.

Re: question about my vtec crossover (flat-blk-HB)
on a p72(gsr) ecu, the vtec x over is at 4400. rev limmit should be about 8200.
are you throwing any other codes while normal driving?

Also check your oxygen sensor. Does the rpm gauge plays any tricks when your car stalls and then gets of again? If yes check also your distributor.
