question about my car
Ok so it seems that my previous questions abouthow to wire in my Vtec have been a bit off. Here goes for real now. I dropped a D16Z6 into my CX. I left in the CX chassis harness and simply plugged the D16 harnesses into that. Now the ECU is throwing a code 22 (VTEC is not working...). So it seems that the VTEC is not wired into the harness properly and the ECU can't find the solenoid, so: How do I wire it in? Do I need to do some cutting and splicing and such? I think this is getting more to the root of my problem, as before beers to the one who can help me get hooked up!!!

Re: question about my car (DB5000)
check the HYBRID website for info or that D series board, whatever th elink is I forget
but there may be a wire on the engine harness that is not continued to the ecu... so you willneed to run a wire from the engine bay harness to the ecu.. but you need to find what pin in the ecu you need to run that wire (or those wires) to exactly...

Check out hybrid.honda-perf.org .
Theres a section on wiring for 5th gen swap wiring. Pretty much its just running a wire from the ecu to the solenoid and pressure switch.
