Default question about iacv problem when swapping y8 manifold on a6

Ok so i just found out that there is a difference between the y8 manifolds
and apparently i got the automatic tranny version.
So i dont know what to do about the iacv/eacv problem. If i use the y8 throttle bodie could i just hardwire the iacv up at the tb or should i drill the manifold out to put the on from my a6 on , which i have no idea what or how to do

Could i just use the same iacv on my 88-91 manifold and not bolt it to the auto manifold?
