I cant figure out why it wont activate....I have the power in a17 on the GSR ECU and the ground tapped on A26....It still wont open up, and I dont know why...There is not CEL either, so im assuming the sensor on the box is still be read correctly......Im all out of ideas....

get a voltage meter and test the voltage from the ecu (black point on A26) and (red point on A17) do this with the ignition on ON position if you get voltage than its the wiring or the sensor and if you dont get anyvoltage then its your ecu

I highly doubt its the ECU seeing as its practically brand new....Ill double check the wiring with the meter and see what happens, but I believe the wiring is correct and the sensor should be fine since it doesnt throw a light like it would if it were fried....

I figured it out...It was the stupid ECU pin....It wasnt going all the way into the harness, thus not making contact with the pin on the ecu....So I spent a lot of hours tryin to get my ONLY pin i had, manipulated to go on, but failed ....So i have to go and grab a couple more incase any others want to get retarded.....
