Question about HAMP oil filters
I want to use Honda's HAMP filters on my B18C motor. My question is which one would you guys use, the small or larger filter? And why? Increased oil pressure or more filter volume? I searched but didn't really find the answers I was looking for. This is for my daily driver BTW. Thanks.

Re: Question about HAMP oil filters (Above6K)
The Hamp filter is equivelent to the JDM Honda filter. The USDM Honda filter is not made to the same standards, although still a good filter. When you cut the can off of the dry fliters of both they seem identicle but under further inspection you will find small hairs or lint comming off of the USDM.
The size of the filter is personal prefrence the smaller will give you a 5 psi oil pressure bump or the larger will give you an additional 1/4 quart of oil.
I have always ran the smaller on both my d series and my b series engines since the better oil pressure was more beneficial for me. And i reside in the Hot desert.
