Default question about gsr turbo

well im planning to do gsr turbo and i was wondering if i can just get any bolt-ons to get my compression low enough to run gsr turbo, like thicker head gaskets and some 450 or 550 fuel injectors and some more stuff instead of having to switch the pistons to lower compression pistons

you dont need to lower compression for turbo...you need some fuel management...along w/ some injectors

Yup, get a fuel pressure regulator, fuel gauge, 450cc injectors, and some sort of tunable/basemapped ECU for your particular appliation and you'll be good to go. But remember this, your car will run its best on a good DYNO TUNE. So if you want it to run at its full potential, get it tuned on a Dyno by a professional.

i am also planning on going gsr turbo too but i heard that unless you build your block you'll never be reliable..but thats only what i hear..i know you can run 7 psi daily driven but you need to be tuned. so i am going all motor until i save enough money to build my block

yeah...build internals for high boost. and its not psi, but power that limits a stock motor. as long as you are on a good tune and you are not trying to run a crazy amount of power, you will be fine. 300ish is probably around the limit for a reliable stock boosted motor....it doesnt matter how much psi you run

You heard wrong. I am running a GSR turbo (T3/T4 .63/.60) And im at 8.5psi all day long untuned. I spiked to 12psi once, scary **** but the car still runs strong. Completely stock motor.

All you need is a good fuel setup and management and your set to go. I wouldnt use a fuel pump no less then 190lhp. I used my stock DX fuel pump and it maxed out at 210whp with my VAFC hack. Now im on Crome and hoping for 300whp with more boost when i hit the dyno.

if u get an inlinepro headgasket 2mm it will lower your compression to 9 to 1 on a usdm gsr and 9.6 to one on a jdm if u get the 3mm it will lower it 2 points and good tuning and a good tuner i recomend hondata and get it tuned by mase you and get bigger injectors and you will run prolly 350 to the wheels
