Question about ES shifter bushings
So I finally got my B&M short throw, and now I can install it as well as my ES shifter bushings. However, when I try to re-install them, the front bushings sleeve is too small for the bolt to go through. I had to finally use my old sleeve for this. Did anyone else have this problem?
Thanks.
Thanks.

No.
Did you lube the bushing before you placed the bolt through?

Re: Question about ES shifter bushings (Deemeetree)
Yup, sure did. I put lube around, inside, outside, all over the place. The bolt was too thick past the threads, I even lightly hammered the bitch, but nothing. How much of a difference is there between the new/old sleeve?

I didn't have any problems with mine. are you talking about the bushings on the tranny side or the one you put one the change extension towards the rear? Because on the tranny side I even tried using the OE sleeve and both worked for me

Yeah, the tranny side was the problem child. That damn bolt was just too thick to go through the sleeve, even with a hammer tap. I may just go over to Home Depot and get myself a Grade 8 bolt and match it up with the sleeve.
