Question about EM1/Si Climate control bulbs?
What is the part number for Si amber climate control bulbs? I have looked on this thread: https://honda-tech.com/zero...age=1 and people gave 2 different part numbers?
79609-S02-A01: http://www.slhondaparts.com/se...2-A01 and this:
79609-S02-A11: http://www.slhondaparts.com/se...2-A11
Which one is it? I want to make sure I order the right ones. I need to know ASAP.
I know some people are going to tell me just to paint the bulbs but I DONT WANT TO DO THAT!

-Pull out climate control
-Remove bulbs
-Drive to Autozone
-Get same 2 bulbs, but red
-Install new red bulbs
-Re-install climate control

Wrong. You cant do that. They are special kind of bulbs that can only be bought at the Honda dealer.

Re: (dawrenn)
I checked the parts catalog at work for a 99-00 Civic Si and the part number for the bulbs is 79609-S02-A01 and they list for $2.95 each. Through the parts locator these dealers should have the bulb. ( the locator is up to 2 weeks old, so its best to call the dealer to find out.):
Fairfax Honda Fairfax, VA 703-934-8500
Brown's Arlington Honda Arlington, VA 703-522-8808
That is the listing I show for the DC metro area. Unfortunatly, I do not stock that bulb. Unless you wanted to stop by and special order it. Hope that helps.

And the price I quoted was straight out of Honda's parts catalog that the dealerships use, not some online Honda dealer that sell parts at their discounted price. $2.95 is what Honda recommends is the suggested retail price. Now if someone came to me from honda tech and asked for that or any other part I would help them out and give them a discount on any parts they needed.

Re: (vtecpower1062)
are the bulbs for both controls?
Both of them are #10 and both are the same part number but on my 99 Civic Ex climate control 2 of the bulbs have a longer base than the other.
