i have a completely stock civic 94 HB auto 105k miles
i was wondering if i got a new chip for it how much of a gain there would be?
i dunno how the ECU workd ..... like i only know there is ones for autos and manual
but i dont know which one is better then the other (if there is)
i just wanna put a few mods in it
i wanna make it a sleeper
Honda is new to me
im not a car newb i puts mods on my camaro and friends mustang
i just wanna learn somthing new

Re: question about ecu (Wookie768)
You wouldn't gain hardly any hp from a new chip without any mods. After doing some mods like cams, I would go ahead and go the Hondata route. I wouldn't waste your time with generic chips like Mugen and Spoon, they just make your car run rich, because they aren't tuned for your specific car, there more or less a generic program or universal. Hope this helps.
