Default Question about civic colours... (EK)

Is the 96-98 silver the same as the 99-00 silver?

I want to do a front end and i can't tell if the silver is the same, the 99-00 seems to have more pearl to it. Does anyone know for sure.

Also when doing a 99-00 front end conversion on a 96-98 is it a straight bolt up, or welding is req'd?

As far as the color I beleive that both are the same (Vogue silver matallic).

The amount of work to do the conversion, I do not know.

Are you guys positive colours are the same? Colour code check anyone?

I saw a guy here with the conversion and the newer front end looked like a totally different shade of silver.
