Default Question about chipping P28 ECU "B16a"

Maybe by now everyone knows i have a JDM b16a with a virgin ecu, i did a lot of research and what not on how to chip a ecu. My question is for that open 28 DIP is that where a b16a basemap goes into or thats for just tuning related stuff?
Or all i do is install/soldier the DIP,capacitors, resistors, jumper and 74HC373, and my ECU would be ready for my b16a?

I'm guessing you're just buying things without actually paying attention to what anything is. The DIP is the chip itself. You solder in a ZIF for the DIP to sit in. The tune that allows your P28 to run your B16A correctly is on the DIP. Call up Phearable and order a basemap for your motor. This kind of stuff is first year AAS Electrical tech. Hopefully you have the proper kind of soldering iron and tips.

Yeah that answered my question, i thought the DIP was for tuning related stuff but now i realize i need to buy a IC basemap "b16a" to be put in that DIP, but trust me i have all the tools for this project, Thanks for your answer ill call Phearable to get that basemap
