Re: Question about CEL (CTR_B)
1 long blink(s) = an incriment of 10
short blink(s) = incriments of 1
short pause = continuation of same code
long pause = a break between codeis (if more than one CEL code being thrown)
check out these pages, it should anwser most your questions,

it could be possible that those are your four codes.
10, 1, 3, 7.

You make a good point, After seeing that 10 is Intake Air Temp I do believe you are correct. Thank you!
Well I pulled the codes again when I was at the shop and same codes came up.. 10 1 3 7. 10 being I/A/T 1 being the o2 3 being the tps and 7 being the map I went ahead and checked them out.
My tps was loose so I tightened it down, I thought that maybe the map was bad so I change that out for another one that I had, o2 well my car does not have one (not worried about) and the I/A/T well Im using a Gsr harness on my b16 so I have two plus that are in the area of the I/A/T and neither one of them seems to get rid of the code, After changing the map out I still get that code along with the TPS after I tightened it.
So guys Im lost?

what year is your civic?
on some, the tps and map harness can be swapped causing these codes.
a code 3 map is usually a bad sensor, but you said you changed it out. check the harnesses. also, did you disconnect the battry before doing this?
if not disconnect the negative terminal for about 5 minutes. then see what happens.

Re: Question about CEL (philosofy1)
Lol you know what, I forgot all about pulling the Batt to clear the codes :rofl
it a 95 and yes the plug could be switch but the tps has a sorter tail then the map meaning you would have to pull the harness over to get it to plug it. But I do know what you mean.
It's just funny that I got all these codes coming on like as if one part of the engine harness isnt plugged into the chassis. Its just weriod

it's tought to say, one code might have triggered another?
it is possible to have the plugs switched around but assumming that your harness is sitting in the car correctly, then thats probably not it.
did you replace the MAP with a new one or another used one?

It was another used one but it was destroyed or anything and my other one I dont see how it could have got damaged
