Question about Catalytic/cat-backs??
First off, those catalytics that they sell on ebay are they going to make my car make more noise or less??? Also why do some of them cost $30 dollars and then there are some that can cost up to $150??
I'm looking for a Catalytic that will make my car make less noise from the Exhaust...I already have the resonator and the silencer install on my muffler...

well if your looking to make your car quieter then you will probably want to get as close to factory as you can, are you trying to keep the power or are you not concerned with that, they cost different for different reasons, some are high flow cats and others are just really cheaply made, make sure to watch out for the cheap ebay knock offs.

Re: Question about Catalytic/cat-backs?? (civic_jones)
I still have the original catalytic in my garage but it is clogging up and I don't want to run the risk of messing up the engine.....Is there maybe a way of cleaning it up so that I don't have to buy a new one??
Thanks in case I have to buy a new one, I will probably go with the first one, then...

If the link doesn't work, go to Nopionline.com and look through their catalog.
I had one of these on my last Integra and it did its job well. Some of those ebay ones you will have to modify by welding on your own flanges. Plus there is no guarantee the length will be correct if its a "universal". If you want a direct bolt on, get the one I linked above

Re: Question about Catalytic/cat-backs?? (honda_joe)
thanks Honda Joe...I actually don't mind the welding and cutting, because I am thinking of taking it to my mechanic to weld it in...but I am definitely double thinking about getting one of those.
