Question about backpressure...
i was just woundering if not having a muffler on your car would make u loose power due to the lack of back pressure?

Back pressure is a myth. You want as little back pressure as possible. Back pressure can make you feel like you've found power, but in reality it just shifts peak torque further down the RPM band and kills top end hp and torque.

This is not entirely true. Honda's thrive on back pressure unless you are going to be launching it at high rpm's. If it was a drag car, then yeah you have no need to worry about it. But if you are asking about this on your daily driver. Then yes you need the back pressure. It will give you more low end trq and a better launch if some one just pulls up to you at a light. There's no need for you to be reving the sh*t out of your car on the streets. Top end isnt going to matter to much, it really isnt going to set you back at that big of a difference.
