1. Not sure
2. Most people use an LS ecu since they are easy and cheap to find. There are other you can use too though. This is assuming of course that you are not going b20vtec.
3. Any Bseries should do the trick. Im not 100% sure on that but I know for a fact integra axles work.
4. You should'nt pay more than 1000 for the motor, especially since you dont need a tranny. They can be had much cheaper but low mileage ones might fetch a high premium.

5. You will also need an LS intake manifold, as the b20 manifold will not clear your hood. Your also going to need the regular **** like motor mounts, bseries shift linkage, ecu, etc. I wouldn't go b20vtec if I were you unless you want to spend tons of time researching. It is not easy or cheap to build a b20vtec PROPERLY.

no you cannot get it to pass. it is impossible to get any b20 to pass the bar when swapped in a 92+ civic for the b20a3 and a5 (must have same year of newer engine). and it is completely illegal to swap in a b20b or z into any civic of any year (considered small truck or suv engines)
